FULL-TIME AQUATICS DIRECTOR NEEDED AT THE J.F. HURLEY FAMILY YMCA - SALISBURY BRANCH

This Aquatics Director position for the YMCA of Rowan County will be responsible for the developing, organizing and implementing of all aspects of aquatic management at the J. F. Hurley Family YMCA; additional responsibilities include but are not limited to staff supervision, fiscal management and fundraising. This position will report to the branch director, but will be expected to assist in the implementation of YMCA standards and programming throughout the YMCA association.

The YMCA of Rowan County is dedicated to strengthing community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Candidates will be expected to further these priorities through dynamic programming and building realtionships within their program areas.

Preferred candidates will be certified in all aspects of YMCA Aquatics Programming, with preferred consideration given for YMCA Swim Lessons and YMCA Lifeguarding certifications.

All candidates must have bachelors degree in program area or related experience with a minimum of 2 years of aquatic management experience and current life guarding certification.

PART-TIME MAINTENANCE STAFF NEEDED AT THE SALEEBY-FISHER YMCA - EAST ROWAN BRANCH

Positions requires both evening and weekend work.  6 months or more of related experience preferred. 

Male staff needed to do housekeeping in male locker rooms, will work night shifts of either 6-9 p.m., 4-7p.m., or 5-8p.m. for 10 to 15 hours weekly.

Female staff need to housekeeping in female lockerrooms. Shift varies - sub position.
